The 2 bolt flange exhaust gasket is the original steel sandwiched type used by VW. The exhaust gasket is used on 1975 through 1979 Standard & Super Beetles between the heater boxes and the muffler on the Federal Model VW Beetles and between the heater box and cross over pipe on the California Models. 1975 to 1978 VW Type 2 Bus models use the gasket between the cross over pipe and the exhaust elbow. The gasket is sold individually.
