Many options exist when it comes to upper ball joints. We've tried the majority of them, and by far the best in our experience is the Lemforder. These ball joints are supplied with the nicest rubber boot, and will deliver the longest lifespan possible on a part that typically can have a short lifespan. Vanagons have a tendency to be hard on upper ball joints, but luckily it is a part that is very simple and easy to replace with hand tools.
